Hey all, have a quick question...what of the two would be better?

Onboard NForce2 IGP (GF4-MX440) with 512MB PC3200 DDR in Dual Channel (being delivered tomorrow).

-or-

An AGP GF4-MX420 with 64MB of SDRAM (already own, in parts bin).

The machine in question is being set up as a HTPC/Server with the following components:
Leadtek K7NCR18GM
Duron 1600Mhz
2x256 Corsair Value PC3200
80GB Western Digital

If you've already got both, what's the harm in checking? :p

That's a tough call though. The onboard might be better if you're using DCDDR. Hard to say.

I was having problems with the OB video, so I RMAd it. Hopefully the new board will work correctly, if not I suspect the Memory. It is good memory too, Corsair Value Select PC3200...

Anyway, I was going to use the MX420 as a crutch until I found the problem (if there still is a problem with the replacement board).
