Onboard LAN?

Onboard LAN?......... Is that an onboard network card? Is it good? 10mbps or 100mpbs? I have a 10mbps realtek card would it be better to use the onboard?

the onboard lan (yes, onboard network card, there is a Cat5 jack near the keyboard slot) on my ECS K7S5a worked like a charm. as for 10Mbps or 100Mbps it depends on how fast the network was set up as (either 10 or 100). if it is a school network i'd get 100 just cuz they are really cheap but for a regular old box 10Mbps will work fine.

Yes, the onboard LAN on that board should be 100mbps, so, it would be faster than your pci card. I believe that it uses Realtek LAN for the onboard as well..
