Onboard Lan Slow?

Ever since I installed my Abit AT7, the onboard LAN seems to have hiccups whenever I load Battlefield 1942. It isn't bad, but it is annoying when it does occur. Should I reinstall my D-link NIC? :confused:

Did you install the chipset drivers for the motherboard? Make sure there weren't updated drivers for the on board NIC?
