Onboard fan-controllers for different NF4's

In the intention of getting a minimum of noise I'm curious about how well the different brands can manage fan-controlling. Also I'm curious about how well they work with Speedfan, even though some are covered here:

I'm particular interested in Asus Sli Premium, gigabyte GA-K8NF-9 the DFI-lanboy and Infinity-models.

The ITE with my Ultra-D works fine for me. I don't use C&Q or other controllers.

So the noise from the chipsetfan is not a problem for you, as I heard it is for many?

No not really. If the choice is cool OR quiet I will pick cool. You can set up a profile for quiet when needed & go WFO when gamming.

Can this be changed "on the fly" or is it in the bios with required restart?
And can these profiles be used for 1 or maybe 2 casefans aswell?
