I think I zapped my audio while installing my video card (A technician confirmed my onboard sound no longer works).

Here are the specifications-->http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Products...rboard&ProductID=2314&ProductName=GA-965P-DS3. I am running windows XP professional 32-bit.

What sound card should I use as a replacement? (that won't cause compatability issues with games/ventrilo/team speak). Hopefully this doesn't have to cost that much.

I have PCI-E x1 slots available.

All I need is something equivalent to stock audio?

Something tells me in order to get the equivalent $3 to $5 of stock technology in this area I am going to have to spend at least $50 (due to the fact these add in cards are relatively low in demand)
