My trouble started after I locked my pc WIN key+L and after logging back half an hour later I found IDT settings popup asking to configure the audio jacks.Anyway I soon found out there was no audio. So, I restarted the system and when that did not fix the problem I reinstalled my audio drivers(they are latest vers). That strangely did not fix the problem so I uninstalled codec pack(
K-Lite) and vlc based on previous experience and reinstalled the drivers and everything, but nothing happened. Then I racked up the vol of my speakers(2.1 working perfectly with ps2) and same with the vol panel on taskbar. Now i can hear the sound but it is toooo low.
My motherboard is DG965SS and the audio chip is sigmatel and OS is Win XP Pro.
Please help
