Onboard audio driver installation failure

As usuall I reinstall windows. Then install service pack 2, which then lets me to install my onboard audio drivers. But after I've installed sp2, the audio driver would fail to install. But not the same error that I would get then trying to install without sp2. So thats gotta be other problem. Motherboard is P5GD2-X, onboard audio as it says in everest home is
Intel 82801FB ICH6 - High Definition Audio Controller [C-0]
