onboard audio crackling

i just bought this board

it has every conceivable audio output but the sound sucks! im getting audio cracklin..as if the cd is skipping but its mp3. strange that nobody on newegg is complaining. google's answer is to buy a sound card 🙁
i know for sure its not my speakers. anyone else have this problem?

No, not the sound card. You said you reinstalled VIDEO drivers, so I was wondering what your video card was.

Does sound weird that the video driver would have an effect on the sound. Had the exact same problem with that board, after trying with a sound card and headphones, reset of bios etc. in the end it turned out to be the Easy tune software from Gigabyte.

the vid card is HIS 5750.
but im thinking maybe it is the Easy tune software. after reinstalling the whole sys, i didnt even bother installing anything except necessary drivers.

Probably a conflict with the HDMI audio output on the radeon
