I just got a foxconn black ops mobo with the SONAR audio expansion card plugged in. I want to use it but it somehow doesn't want to show up in playback devices. I see that the driver is oddly installed under system devices.

I tried installing the driver on the cd and the latest one from foxconn's site. The driver doesn't want to seem to install over the windows driver.

Any help would be appreciated! :)

say what now? is there an audigy2 in your system?

i don't see how a realtek (isn't that what the sonar card is?) audio device could be installed as a creative one. does that come back if you try to remove it?

is the sonar card enabled in the bios?

Yep I also have an audigy2 installed in my system, but I want to compare it to the SONAR one.
Yeah I also double checked that high definition audio device is enabled in the bios.
