I am one day late due to a failure of my router/firewall (bad PS) and had to scramble to get it working again. Sorry guys.

On this day (October 10) 33 years ago (1970) Pierre Laporte, Quebec Labour Minister, was kidnapped from his home in St Lambert, a Montreal suburb, by members of the Chénier cell of the FLQ. 7 days later the strangled body of Pierre Laporte is found in the trunk of a car in the St. Hubert Airport parking lot in Montreal.

This incident pushed Trudeau to make his famous "just watch me" speech outside of Parliment to a CBC reporter on October 13th 1970.
