do I need a special wireless card to get the theoretical 108Mb/s or will any "regular" card work?

Specifically, say I get the D-Link DI-784 Tri-Mode Dualband 802.11a/b/g wireless 108Mb/s router, can I achieve the theorectical 108Mb/s speed with the internal Intel® PRO/Wireless 2915ABG that comes with my Sony Vaio?

THANKS

The theoretical 108Mb/sec. is functional 32Mb/esc. to 40Mb/sec.

It works only with the same Brand matching 108Mb/sec. Cards.

I.e. with your Intel Wireless Laptop it would work as a regular 54Mb/sec. 802.11g Card.

Yielding functional Speed of 18 to 22 Mb/sec.

The best performance on wireless equipment in my experience has been anything by buffalo. They produce high end equipment that isnt cheap, but works VERY well.
