I had a family member send me an unencrypted email with their SSN # in it. This completely surprised and scared me, as I wouldn't send my SSN unencrypted (or at all for that matter) over the internet. I brought it up to them and they don't see the issue because they know that I am the only one with access to that email account. Since it is a work email however, work is able to view that at any time (and even though we have lots of SSN numbers of our customers, it still is a bit to risky for me).
