On screen display is locked

Hello,
I am having a problem with the OSD(On screen display) with a P1130 dell.
It was locked this morning and I have no idea why it happened.
I do not know where to get the manual for this monitor and have no idea how to fix it.
I found some saying you should press buttons for 15-30 seconds, especially the menu button, but it does not work.
Trying all kinds of button combinations also did not work.

Any help?

Have you tried combination of buttons?
Unplugging and holding down the power for 5 sec?
Menu + Power?

Just a couple of ideas.

Unless you need a CRT for a particular reason (high-end twitch gaming?), then just let it go, it's time.

Get a decent 1080P LCD at Newegg, you can get 23.6" ones for relatively good prices. (A bit over $100, like $120-130, on a good sale. More for IPS, freesync, 144Hz or what have you.)

I already have a 24" Led.
I switched to this Crt for some other reason.

It was so good, way better than I expected to tell the truth.
Until it got locked.

Now seems no way out.
I tried 1 button combination, 2,3,4,5 for all kinds of seconds.
The only thing that happens, is when I keep pressing the + sign (one on the picture) after several seconds,
it doesn't show the lock anymore, but nothing happens.
So I have to switch it off and switch on again to show the lock again.

I also tried switching off then keeping the power button pressed.

I will try this menu + power, did not think of it.
Update: Just tried, nothing happens.

Please help guys, this CRT means a lot to me.

Most CRTs store the OSD data in an NVRAM chip (EEPROM). If it's showing locked, then maybe this chip has gone bad, and can't store new settings.

Can you use the buttons to stretch the screen? Also, try lowering the resolution. Some old monitors dont support some resolutions. Try 800x600 and see if that changes the monitor.
