on rails fps

Does anyone know of any on rails fps like they have at Chuck E. Cheese, and I assume other places with arcades. The game there that my kids played last weekend was where you were shooting at all kinds of bugs, killer fish, gaint grabs and skeletons. It didn't have any gore to it, so it was pretty child friendly for an fps. Being able to play co-op on lan would be a nice bonus also. I doubt they are real popular with the PC crowd, but I thought I would give it a shot.

Ah yea, just googled it. I played it on PS3. For some reason I could have swore I played it on PC.

The PC has "Typing of the Dead: Overkill", which is basically a typing version of "House of the Dead: Overkill". However you can play the regular lightgun version on PC too.

Not kid appropriate at all though. 😛

Dead Space is to scary for my kids. They are 6 and 8. We do have a Wii though, so Wii games would work along with PC games. I think I am hunting for a needle in a hay stack though.

There's one called Toy Story Mania for the Wii. It's meant for little kids, yours might be just on the border. There's also the older Link's crossbow challenge which was very good.

Looking more for shooting large bugs, robots, dragons or something, not people.

Here it is. But the one they played wan't an enclosed booth like this one.

CU ironically I had a similar encounter with this game. My kid came back from a trip to Dave and Busters raving about this game he played with his Grandma. It was Deadstone Pirates!

Unfortunately they haven't ported this to xbox, wii or PC (the gaming platforms we have).

He was sad. But he got over it. He now plays Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare for his FPS fix.
