::sigh:: Since last week ive been having problems with my computer at work because it got infected with MTX virus (my bosses home computer got infected so he brought it here and my co worker decided to hook it up to our network and fix the problem!! we all got infected). I then reformatted the computer and everything was fine.(not as easy as it sounds) I come in today, turn on my computer and after 5 minutes the computer freezes. My hard drive also started making this weird noise similar to the noise I heard before I did the reformat, when it was infected with the MTX virus. So now Im currently working on a 486, 16mb ram, 1mb trident video card, 1gig hd, and a 14 or 15 in monitor that has a sh!tty ass refresh rate and my eyes are tearing!! the hard drive is loud as hell...you know what im talking about? everytime I open something up, any mouse movement, moving windows, etc.. OMG I take my computer for granted. ok end of rant i miss my pIII 800

At least you've got a nice system to use at work. I'm stuck on a 4 year old Gateway, blazing along @ 166MHz. Only consolation is I have a nice 20" Trinitron. But with 2 meg vid, I can't even pump the res.

BTW, I work for a LARGE coporation, not some hole in the wall.

hehe actually we're a small import/export company.. We have 2 branches one in santa ana, and LA. I work in the Santa Ana branch.. a total of 3 people! boss, coworker, and I. Well I guess I am the tech support.. I built 2 of the 3 computers on the network and I also set up the network. Honestly I think the hard drive is dead, for good.
