Update as of 5-9-06: Purchased some felt today and got to work. The Ipod fits perfectly inside of the mount now with the felt. It's so snug I can turn it upside down and the Ipod won't fall out.

Looking great , sweet work! I always admire people that can make stuff like this themselves.

Thanks! 😀

Next step is to make a wedge type thing for the other part of the mount so it points towards the driver's side. I've got my audio cables ready in my car and hardwired the charger directly into my car's electrical system and ran the cables out of the dash. I've hooked it up a few times, nice crystal clear sound!
