Do you ever eat anything spicy?

When my stomach acts up I sit down to healthy portion of hot wings and that normally straightens it right out.

I use Carolina Reaper Pepper sauce but you better slowly build up to that.
You can order it from the Puckerbutt Pepper Company website

The Carolina Reaper is a cultivar of chili pepper of the Capsicum chinense species, originally named the "HP22B", bred by Ed Currie, who runs PuckerButt Pepper Company in Fort Mill, South Carolina, United States. As of 2014, it is the world's most piquant pepper.

The original crossbred was between a red naga pepper and a Red Savina pepper.[1] The "Carolina Reaper" was rated as the world's hottest chili pepper by Guinness World Records from 2012 to 2014.[2] It averages a 1,569,300 on the Scoville scale with peak levels of over 2,200,000 Scoville Heat Units (SHU).

That probably works because of the vinegar in th sauce. Vinegar, believe it or not, is a known treatment for stomach acid issues.

I used to have IBS and a slow emptying stomach as well and the problem turned out to be a tomato/nightshade family plant allergy.

No tomatoes, hot peppers, eggplant, etc. Potatoes seem fine, for whatever reason. Apparently only the fruits make me sick.

NOW that I know what normal feels like, I can immediately tell when I ate something with tomato. My gums bleed on contact, my esophagus bleeds on contact, my stomach cramps up, its bad. I suspect it tears up the lining of my insides in a similar manner. And I used to eat them all the time and had adapted. Pretty amazing. Except you know... the horrible stomach cramps randomly.

I crave me some tomatoes. I used to love pasta with sauce and such. Apparently being addicted to the very food you are allergic to is common. I know someone allergic to almonds and loves almonds. Probably made themselves allergic by eating like 3lbs of them at once. Also seems to be a common way to develop an allergy.

Also, coffee helped the stomach emptying. Acid issues and such. Though I have quit a few times for long stretches and it doesn't make much difference so long as I'm not eating foods that make me sick on a regular basis.

Go on the BRAT diet and introduce foods one at a time. I never did though. Just careful observation of "I ate XYZ and I got sick 4 hours later so lets see what as in it" and enough data points and it became obvious tomato/bell pepper/hot peppers/etc were the culprit.

I would die :p

Actually not, just get violently ill like I had food poisoning. It would take 3days to be 100% again after that.
