Nothing like starting a movie at any time and being able to pause, rewind, fast forward, etc.

It is quite nice. Adelphia implemented it here last year, one of their best features.

Yes it is... on a free trial of HBO on Demand this month - but not liking the stuff they have. The convenience is really nice though.

I agree it is better, but my cable provider offers PPV as On Demand. All PPV movies (not event's obviously) can be paused, forwarded, rewound, restarted, etc... at you own desire.

yup, i love it, but between the extra cost of Digital cable over DishTV and the amount of money i end up spending on On Demand, i just can't afford it. :)

I subscribe to HBO and Showtime. Currently have Starz for free this month.

On demand is free for me if it is on Starz, Showtime, or HBO.

I think TimeWarner's On Demand implementation sucks. They never have any good movies and they never rotate in new movies. It's great for HBO series, but I already get all of them with Tivo. Plus, they don't offer Starz On Demand. :|

PPV On Demand is cool, but there are very few movies I want to pay to watch that I haven't bought on DVD.

I subscribe to Starz so I get Starz On Demand for free. I didn't realize that HBO and Showtime offered it too. The only problem with Starz On Demand is the movies are for the most part awful. (Word to the wise, don't watch "Bones".)

It is awesome, I have been watching a ton of anime and other movies. It is quite usefull watching a Pay per view, and being able to pause it for the door/phone.

Just got this service a few days ago. Two-hour WRC broadcasts with no commercials kicks ass. :D
