Just lately I have one of my desktop folder windows that opens on bootup and I'd like to get rid of it. Where and how?

That's very interesting.

My NAV reported the kakworm virus and quarantined it. I ran a system scan and it found 3 emails with it which I deleted. System scan reports clean now. I still get the open folder. It's just a folder I created with some programs and shortcuts in it.

I had a similar problem when I uploaded quicktime. I founf the folder in the startup folder. Try looking in there.
