On-board sound on Dragon Plus

Hey everyone

I've just got my shiny new Soyo Dragon Plus but am having some trouble with the on-board sound. Whenever I use the regular atx line-out jack (the one for front stereo speakers), I only get one channel (the right); absolutely NOTHING comes out of the left speaker. However, when I plug into the rear speaker out jack (I'm talking about the regular mini-plugs, not the RCAs or optical ones) I get both channels no problem as long as I enable 4-speaker mode in the driver.

I just want to make sure that my thinking's right - I believe this is probably a hardware fault, no? As in a wiring issue somewhere on the mobo itself... I'd rather not have to RMA this board if I don't have to so I want to make sure that nobody has a better solution for me... Any ideas??

Thanks!
David

I've played with the plug as much as I can - no matter how I move it I still don't get a left channel...
