On-Board LAN on an nforce2 mobo...

Specifically the Soltek 75FRN-L...

I notice i seem to get spotty connection now...

For instance i cant watch any streaming lecture (384kps) without it buffering every 2 seconds and many pages come up DNS Error until i refresh it...

Does this onboard lan blow goats? Or is there something else wrong?

i think with the soltek nforce2 boards, they dont use an nvidia mac but rather a different one, probably to save on costs

My Golden Flame's LAN works great brudda, I'm not certain where your trouble lies but I doubt it's the board. However, since a new 10/100 card is only $10-$15 if you don't have one lying around, I'd use one and see if it resolves the problem. BTW, you should post this in Networking if you haven't already and see what TS steps they can suggest if you feel like monkeying with it. We have a good thread for our board going here and I haven't seen anyone complain about the integrated LAN yet but you never know.
