Heh.

As for me, it just really depends on the categories. If they are history/english/lit heavy then I suck. But the more science/pop culture/misc cats they have the better I do.

I'd likely never win a game unless I got really really lucky on the cats/matchups. But I'd be competitive.

Yeah I'd say about half on average. Sometimes more when there are science / history / geography questions, but a lot lower when it is "17th century Russian art."

Ahh but the contestant asks the question, and it could be right or wrong. ;)

which is why they provide a study guide for all contestants prior to filming. I'd say that I get know a good 25% of questions but never get the answers out as fast as some of those contestants.

Roughly 30% on average ... it does vary a lot depending on the catagory though.

Same here. Once they had a category, "Physics," which I swept with no problem. It was stuff I'd learned in high school, and then covered again in college. Basic physics stuff. Then they've got categories about old literature, or real trivia - stuff that only one or two people on the entire planet should really know anyway. :)
Generally, I probably get 10% or less.

Yeah, that.

I don't keep track, but it's a lot more than my wife. :p But we at home have the luxury of being able to throw out guesses without penalty.
