Haven't bought a game in a while.
Been looking at COD Black Ops on Ebay. Some of the sellers make a big deal about the code haven already been used.
Can codes be reused? How would I ensure I get a good code so I can activate the game and play online?

AFAIK you can't. You need to buy new.

codes can't be re-used from 2nd hand. Unless you bought the game from an actual qualified BM retailer + being the owner of said game w/ the actual receipt.

As others said, nope. CoD BO is a Steamworks game so the game is tied to the Steam account that the code was entered on too. The people selling on ebay that are selling it with a used code sound like they are just trying to get lucky and rip someone off that doesn't know better.

If you really want it, it is on Amazon for like $44. You have to use Steam regardless of where you buy it from though.

Thanks, I'll wait till it drops to $20 and keep playing COD4. I wanted to try it out because I heard you can play against bots unlike 4.
