So my new build has a HD4200 IGP in it with 128mb dedicated memory. I was going to hold off on a video card for a bit but am now unsure. I have limited funds left for this so I have to make a choice. I play games like WoW and other MMOs. I can either buy a 4670 or another 2GB of RAM to make 4 total. My system already has 2GB installed.....I dont know what to do

If you got your mind set on those two choices. I would buy the HD4670 video card over the extra ram.

I use a HD4670 1GB version and using 2GB of ram. Even though I use a older AMD X2 3800+ processor. I can play my games at high graphic settings at 1280x1024. Which is the highest res my monitor can go. I can play the following games just fine. :)

Bioshock, Red Faction Guerrilla, RESIDENT EVIL 5, Need for Speed SHIFT, Grand Theft Auto IV.

I agree. If your aim is to get better graphics performance by spending the same amount of $$ on RAM or a GPU, a GPU would be the clear winner. I am also looking at a 4670 to replace the HD4200 on my parents PC that I built. I need to game when I visit!

Unless you are using a 64-bit OS - and you probably aren't because you didn't mention it - then there's no sane choice at all except get the 4670.

The Price/Performance ratio of the HD470 is nice. You can't go wrong with the price you pay for it.
