On a 34" display, can you set a lower resolution than 3440x1440 ?

On a 34" display that has a native resolution of 3440x1440, can you "downgrade" the resolution a bit? For example if you need to work with text for a long time and you need the text to be easier to see. Kind of similar to when you have 2560x1600 you can set display to 1920x1200

Is it possible? Would it look natural?

What would be the next down resolution from 3440x1440 ?

That's an odd resolution. It should be able to scale down fine, but probably not much lower than whatever the ultrawide 2.39 version of 1080p is.

If you want larger text, use windows scaling to 125% or 150% instead of changing resolution.

I run a 34" curved 3440x1440 and I've noticed that text in word is smaller than it was on my 27" 1920x1200 monitor. You can do as was suggested and scale the window but different monitors support different resolutions so you'd have to check your specific model to know them.
