There is no worse driving offender than that arrogant interstate @sshole who, even after 2 miles of "Left Lane Closed Ahead" warnings, chooses not to take any of the multiple opportunities to go ahead and merge over, but rather speeds along the relatively empty lane, oblivious to all signs of impending doom, silently mocking those of us in the other lane as we begin to slow, then violently slamming on his brakes and throwing his turn-signal on just inches away from the construction cones, with that mixed look of incredulous shock and faux outrage that people aren't immediately allowing him to merge over from his lane that somehow - both inexplicable and suddenly - came to an abrupt end.

Although, that stupid bitch that decides to let him - and the 14 other douche-bags that also felt they were too good to merge earlier - into the lane, stopping traffic completely, may actually be the bigger @sshole of a driver.

I wish that interstate lane endings eventually separated the lanes with those concrete barriers and the lane that closed stops after 500ft with a brick wall with a huge sign that read "WTF didn't you merge over the last 2 miles? Now you're trapped, douche! Have a nice day! - D.O.T."

I wasn't shocked at all when LA drivers were listed as the 48th worst in the nation. Even my buddy from NO admits they are horrible, I've never seen such an amount of clueless moronic drivers in my life. Alabama was in the top 15 best, and we speed like crazy. Everyone in OK drivers slow as hell!

Man, you are absolutely right. I see it all of the time on my I-20 commute. Not quite the same situation but yesterday on that Interstate some genius decides the left lane is going too slow so he puts the pedal to the metal and trys to pass me from the right lane. I was still going the same speed and he met his version of the brickwall in the eighteen wheeler he almost slammed into trying to pass me. I reveled in his near miss as I continued on and he was stuck behind the truck.

No, see. Way before the wall, they two lanes will suddenly have a concrete barrier separating them, so if they haven't gotten over by that time, they are "trapped" in their lane, which will end shortly and will have no way to cross over that 3-ft tall median.
