If you guys have been looking for some speaker stands for your Klipsch speakers (which is a good deal at outpost, another thread), then these Omnimount RB-1 speaker stands are a steal for $74.83 (California) shipped. This should be cheaper for people not in California (take $5.06 off for tax).

These are the speaker stands sold at klipsch (compare at $89.99 + tax + shipping):

Go here for the hot deal: http://209.185.112.210/?CATID=10509

Sorry for anybody who thinks this deal sucks, cuz I know speaker stands are expensive as a mother. These are pretty cheap.

Yes, these stands are nice, I got a set quite some time ago. But, the bracket it comes with, don't excatly fit the ProMedia satilites without a bit of drilling.

I thought maybe they didn't give me the correct bracket, so after a few minutes of surfing omnimount's site it didn't really say anything about being used with Klipsch's satilites. So I started to look around Klipsch's site for info. Well nothing till I went and looked though their forums, and well I see that many other people had the same problem..

here are the threads

I just drilled into the bracket and did it that way, but that 2nd thread I posted sounds like a good idea also, but requires you to actually leave your house to do this so thats bad :D

Now I don't know if these stands still have this problem, I didn't see any new posts of people having problem. So just letting you know what your getting into :D

Just a suggestion here, according to that person, they were able to mount the Promedia's with the threaded rod. You should be able to do the same with Bolts. Threaded rods come in the same pitch as bolts.

They wouldn't be long enough, the bolts that came with my speakers are like 1/4" and he cut the rods to 3"

I ordered 2 sets of these stands from Klipsch for my Quintet's. I received 3 different kinds of brackets with each set. This included those for the Promedia. I would call Klipsch CS and ask for the brackets if you don't receive them.

baahhaha, good luck with getting the "correct" brackets. i bought mine way back in the beginning of the year, and they overnighted the "correct" brackets tome, and they turned out to be exactly the same! just drill the suckers, one of the bracket-holes are just a bit too small for the screw...
