With her being 8 months pregnant, a fall definitely != good :(
Luckily tho, she was able to get herself squared so that she fell directly on her rump, and not her stomach.
She's still kinda shaken up tho...and will hopefully take my advice and stay off her feet for the rest of the afternoon until I get home (said that mainly for her benefit...she lurks on AT occasionally).

The worst part?
It shouldn't have happened at all. :frown:
She uses a tall stool to take the weight off her feet when she teaches.
Unfortunately, assorted assclowns from her various classes come in and abuse the damn stool by leaning back on it and other stupid maneuvers, even tho she warns them not to.

Well, evidently, one of the feet got busted off one of the legs, but she didn't see it, and as she shifted her weight on it this morning...it dumped her.

This is all worsened by the fact that on Monday we got news that a woman who used to work in my office lost her baby less than a week before she was due.

BTW: And for all of you YAMT Nazis...she immediately called her OB and told her what happened.
BTW2: And my first reaction upon hearing about it was "Did you call the doctor yet?" instead of "HOLY SMOKES I GOTTA GO POST THIS ON AT!"
BTW3: The baby was kicking and moving as strong as ever before I left to go back to work, so hopefully everything is OK.

If this one is anything like our first child, she'll come out high-steppin like she's Lord (err...Lady) of the Dance!

Prolly a 3 foot high stool.

Glad to hear the baby and wife are OK.

BTW: Both our second and third child was easier to raise than the first, but they were both girls???

We have one girl already, and baby number two should be a girl too, according to our doctor.
If not, then it will be just the second time in 17 years our OB was wrong after looking at an ultrasound. :D

Happy to hear that Mrs. TallGeese and the little Goslet are both well.

On a side note, throughout history, pregnant women have labored in fields, fought in wars, climbed trees, fell out of trees, gone whitewater kayakking, etc, all w/o damage to mother or child. Everyone will be OK. I'm sure Daddy was more upset than Mommy. ;)

Good on you for being a concerned Father and Husband. Now go home and rub her booty and make it all better. :)

I know I speak for many folks here on AT when I say:

I am truly amazed at your unerring ability to steer every thread you enter toward situations where somebody is rubbing something on somebody else, my brother! :p

BTW: Thanks for the kind words man!

Sorry to hear about the fall. It upsets me that her students messed up her stool.

Sounds like everything is ok though, which is good.
