With her being 8 months pregnant, a fall definitely != good
Luckily tho, she was able to get herself squared so that she fell directly on her rump, and not her stomach.
She's still kinda shaken up tho...and will hopefully take my advice and stay off her feet for the rest of the afternoon until I get home (said that mainly for her benefit...she lurks on AT occasionally).
The worst part?
It shouldn't have happened at all. :frown:
She uses a tall stool to take the weight off her feet when she teaches.
Unfortunately, assorted assclowns from her various classes come in and abuse the damn stool by leaning back on it and other stupid maneuvers, even tho she warns them not to.
Well, evidently, one of the feet got busted off one of the legs, but she didn't see it, and as she shifted her weight on it this morning...it dumped her.
This is all worsened by the fact that on Monday we got news that a woman who used to work in my office lost her baby less than a week before she was due.
BTW: And for all of you YAMT Nazis...she immediately called her OB and told her what happened.
BTW2: And my first reaction upon hearing about it was "Did you call the doctor yet?" instead of "HOLY SMOKES I GOTTA GO POST THIS ON AT!"
BTW3: The baby was kicking and moving as strong as ever before I left to go back to work, so hopefully everything is OK.
