OMGWTFSUBWAY

So I go into Subway today to get my usual foot long chicken breast sandwich..and happen to notice that it's the daily special. There were about 4 people ahead of me..a bit unusual since it was about 9:30p.m..and the guy who was in front of me happens to just order 2 salads and 2 subs, completely nitpicky about everything.

It's finally my turn then. I order my sandwich then, add in all the vegetables along with honey mustard..and get rung up at the register.

"That'll $6.30 please."
"$6.30? I thought it was the Sunday special."
"That only applies to 6-inch subs."
"And how much for a 6-inch sub?"
"$2.49."
"Uh, okay, so can't you charge me for 2 6-inch subs?"
"Sorry the ofer only applies to 6-inch subs."
😕 This backwards logic puts me out almost a dollar.

Being the passive person that I am, and being that I was in there for nearly 20 minutes and wanted to leave already.. and also being the fact that I could barely make out with this guy was saying, I end up paying and leave.

So do all Subways have this retarded policy or just mine? 😕

Go to quiznos... much much better...

That doesn't happen at mine... there are still some kids that I know that work there so they'll always give me the discount. It does seem kind of stupid with how that works doesn't it.

Obviously the guy behind the counter was a moron.

At our Subway we ring it up as individual 6 inches, no matter how many you had.

Edit: And what Subway is open at 9:30 on a Sunday? 😕 We closed at 8.

One that's next to a movie theater and 24-hr fitness 😛

In Westwood (UCLA area) there's a Subway that's 24 hours.

Yes, but they're also > in price.

Better taste and service. You get what you pay for.

Service really depends on the location. I've been to Subways where it takes the guy 10 minutes to make a sub, and others where they're practically doing a race against time.

Quizno's seems to be a bit more consistent though, and their methods are more simple. Generally there's two people that make a sandwich, and another person to ring it up. At Subway I usually see one person doing both tasks.

step 1: go to the subway website
step 2: email complaint to subway customer service
step 3: receive free sub coupons and quit bitching on ATOT 😛
