I have never used Paypal before! *Gasp*
I have a few things I want to unload on FS/FT forum and possibly Ebay, and since Paypal is the prefered method, I need to set up an account. Yes, I could read the massive help section for hours on end on Paypal.com, but frankly, there is just so much information about features I dont need to know about. That being the reason I am here asking you people instead!
So, here are a few questions:
1. If I sell something in FS/FT, how do I collect my money exactly? Do I need to send an "Invoice" or "Request Money" email BEFORE someone can send me money? Or is this feature sort of an official reminder that you can send?
2. Do I need to "verify" my account before I can collect money? I currently have no desire to purchase anything via Paypal, and if I understand correctly, I dont really need to "Verify" my account to Receive money.
3. What exactly happens when someone sends me money? I understand you get an email saying so, but is there a link I need to click on in this email that allows the money transfer or something? Id appriciate a small walkthrough of the steps one goes through to collect.
4. Once I have collected my money, and I now have a balance of $X listed, is there a grace period that I need to wait to absoluley verify that I have thew money? In other words, once I have a balance listed, is that money %100 offically there waiting for me to withdraw or transfer to my checking account?
Im only asking these questions because I want to make sure I dont bungle my first sell and get a bad heat eval on my first try. I think people can appricate the fact im trying to get as much info as I can before I just start listing everything like a mad person. Thanks in advance.
