I don't know if they'll put out a movie until the 2nd attempt at the series fails again. (which I'm guessing will be a few years down the road yet unless they get new writers to keep the show on top like the Simpsons did)

the show obviously didnt fail if fans demanded it back after becoming obsessed with re-runs. It sounds like marketing department failed. I never heard of family guy until after it was cancelled.
