omg wu lost?

What was the reason for the crash? Was it the WU?

Is your computer overclocked? An overclock that seems stable may not be with some WUs that work some parts of the CPU harder than others.

bah I think the reason was because I tried to switch from single channel to dual chan in windows mode (not in bios) lol. o well

Just in the short course of this TAS race, I have lost 4 600 point work units. Two of them were my fault because I forgot to kill the service when I was setting up the new computers and got a little uh.... 'aggressive' on the clocks. 🙁

The other two were lost as a result of a momentary power failure in my neighborhood during an ice storm. :|

It baffles me that a project this mature has not found a way to checkpoint and recover when the computer shuts down improperly. Oh well.... onward and upward.
