120 gig ide drive
on board everything else
winxp

Something is wrong.

Run P95, Memtest, start eliminating things it *COULD* be, which is a lot...

Sounds awfully like a bad overclock to me. What are your temps?

reset cmos to defualt, and depending on where it restars would show if its HD or not, but i suspect heat, or something physical has happened to the board, thermal expansion maybe... like a hairline fracture, or possibly when the thing heats up something gets dissconnected, my suggestion is to take everything out, take a CLEAN pencil eraser and LIGHTLY rub it against the goldfingers to get rid of any possible dust, residue, or corrosion.

also has anything power related happened, surges, spikes, stuff like that, brownouts, etc... check tyhe voltages of your power supply, and make sure your caps on you mobo arnt expanded and about to burst... does every1 agree that 12, 5, and 3.3v should be around +/- .15 volts? (i go with .1 but i have systems that are a lot worse and work fine)

out of ideas here... GL

I got the apc ups and it said no brown/blackouts. It's not overclocked so I don't know what jumping the CMOS will do. I suspect PSU, antec i think...SO i'll probably try one of those first before anything else...after that proc/HSF...after that ram...
