I can't believe it, I finally got my Dual P III 650 up and running just the way I need it to, and so I set up my old P II 400 for my wife to use. So, just for chits and giggles, I threw on QIII and UT so if my brother comes over we can game. Well, I was showing he how to play, and she all of the sudden got interested. Now she wants to play quite a bit.

Now here is a woman who hated that I played this, because the base from my system rattled the house, but now we have 2 PCs running SB Live cards with awesome speakers. Now it sounds like a war zone here. ILOVE IT. Now I can share even more with this incredible woman. Who knows, maybe a husband and wife team in some online games once I get DSL.

Romance: spending quality time with each other, sharing each other's secrets, blowing each other into tiny giblets. :D

Just get her onto ICQ er somethin so you guys can talk when you take Quake breaks. I mean, it'd be too much trouble to turn the chairs around to talk to each other. You have email to check n' stuff.

She is actually getting pretty good, I may just have to challenge her to a tourney.

She is what is commonly known in the world of male chauvinism as a KEEPER

Yep she is a keeper, I knew that the day I asked her to marry me. Now that she Quakes, and she also is trying her hand at UT, she is really a keeper :D (lol). No but seriously, she was an accounting major, but now she is going over to Computers, software, hardware. She mainly is concentrating on DBMS.

What a GAL. BTW, She is a REDHEAD who hates to lose. She was really trigger happy last night on those bots. :Q

My girlfriend played Quake 2 SP all the way thru a couple of years ago when I put together a box from my upgrade refugees. She'd call me up screaming "where the hell is the [whatever she was stuck at]?" I'd have to fire up Q2 on my machine and noclip thru the map to find where she was at and walk her thru whatever snag she was in. She played a good way thru the Ground Zero mission pack too. She gave up when it got too hard and frustrating. I fired up her last save game to see what her condition was and got good and dead real fast! It was ridiculous how over-oppositioned that part was. I'm surprised she made it that far.

We're talking about getting a place together and I'll definitely have our PCs networked on a pr0n pipe, so maybe she'll start playing again.

She also plays Age of Kings.
