If you're as hairy as a damn bear you should just have another person help you take care of that. That thing looks like a great way to remove a lot more than hair from your back.

I bet that feels great, shaving your back dry...

Edit: apparently it works great, but I still have reservations about getting cut.

That actually doesn't seem to be shaving too close. Looked like he had full on visible stubble still. Which an elongated handle with just a typical replaceable (like Mach 3 style) blade setup would get closer (I think such a thing exists, and I also know there's kinda similar product with curved blades for shaving your head). Not sure it'd take any longer either, kinda surprised 3 wide blade wasn't clearing it better than that. The modern razor style also I think is less likely to cut you (might be more likely to cause ingrown hairs though). Body hair is typically much less coarse than facial hair, and that's what causes so much of the dinged razer/cuts and discomfort. But might just be that person and their hair/shaving style. If you were more aggressive probably could do it faster and closer.
 
Lord have mercy, I don't think I could ever use a safety razor blade on my hair without shaving cream. Ouch.

They have some awesome electric ones, not that I have any experience :awe:
