http://www.tomsitpro.com/articles/arin-ipv4-ipv6-internet-iot,1-1919.html

The American Registry of Internet Numbers (ARIN) is running out of available IPv4 addresses and has begun a process of rationing and recycling the rapidly shrinking inventory. Unfortunately, the addresses are not a renewable resource and in an announcement last week, ARIN moved into Phase 4 of its IPv4 Countdown (and there is no Phase 5).
THE WORLD IS ENDING! D: Save the addresses! Find a renewable source for them!

It wasn't so long ago that people were saying the whole ipv6 thing was a waste of time because NAT meant we would use far fewer IP addresses than predicted. Guess not.

We're also running out of bits. That's why it's necessary to have metered billing.

That must be why I can't get DSL anymore, my ISP claims they are all out of internets.(or something like that)

Is anyone not running ipv6 capable browsers?

I guess not. :awe: I'm on chrome (mobile safari now) but I overheard one of my teachers at school asking how they were expected to access the internet without internet explorer. All of our machines run 7 but our school remotely deleted all ie exes because the xp venerability. Well because they did that, no one could be a different browser. IT had to come around installing a portable chrome off of flash drives. D:
All of our pc's are pentiums or i3s except in special labs. They get Mac pros with i7s. It's not like we get a $100m budget each year or anything. :|
