My 9800pro is on strike, I got a evga 6800 vanilla, since they have an outstanding trade-up program for when the 512mb cards are out.

wow, wtf?! I upgraded my 600 Mhz K7 Athlon to a 2500+ Barton with an nForce2 mobo and my GeForce 256 DDR would NOT work because the video card was too old for the AGP slot. Lucky bastard!

What motherboard are you using? don't understand how this is possible. Later AXP boards are even mostly 3.3v incompatible, I can't imagine an a64 board being compatible with it unless you have some strange GF256.

It is a MSI something Neo Platinum (nforce 350).
The card is an asus v6600.

The barton board was an MSI nforce something something.

All GeForce cards are supposed to be 1.5V compatible. If your card is not, it does not comply with nVidia's design specifications.

BTW, most TNT2s are 1.5V compatible as well. Only cards I know of that aren't are the early Diamond Viper V770s.
