the city hall actually read their mails! There is this big pot hole in the middle of the street right outside our house that everyone has been bothered by. Well, we finally had it and we wrote a letter to the city hall to get that pot hole fixed. Today, a loud noise of truck engines woke me up. This is the first time I didn't get bothered by such loud noises. They are fixing that pothole as I am writing this up right now. Just thought I would share my joy with someone.

I was thinking the same thing. That is probably something they don't get much of down there.

 
Cool, though you obviously don't live in my town, we've been complaining about a bunch of potholes on my street (one of the three main roads) for *years* with no luck. And I even voted for the dang mayor! Bastich!
 
A thank you letter would be very nice. Maybe the government would actually work for the people instead of themselves if they got a little appreciation.
