OMG the Toronto Stock Exchange is slowly crashing.

It was at 10,000+ not long ago now its well under 9,000. Its just been falling and falling and falling except for one day this week where it perked up a bit - then it started falling again.

This sucks!

I think it might go down more. This morning I heard a rumor that Nortel was going to announce layoffs. Although they are currently denying this.

don't worry, The U.S'es market isn't too far behind.

Its still 6% up for the year and it really only reflects Nortel as that influences 30% of the TSE.
So basically the TSE is garbage and NO indicator of how Canadian stocks are doing.
They should pull Nortel and affiliates out.
I wouldn't worry unless all your money is in Nortel but then thats your problem for being a one trick pony.
