OMG that is a huge bees nest......glad I'm not a pest remover

I had one almost that big, about 30' up in a tree this summer. It blew down during a storm in the fall.

I saw one once that took up two and a half 13.5" cavities between studs in an attic. Simply spraying with a lot of hornet spray took care of it.

huh? a sabotted slug would pass right through without imparting a lot of energy upon the nest... All it'd do is piss off the bees (except for the bees in the path of the slug.)

Someone must not have been paying attention... deal with bees nests like that on the house long before they get to that size...

who the heck would let a nest get that big?

Probably an unoccupied house, or perhaps elderly occupants.

Either way somebody needs to take a can of gas & hose that thing down.
