Togos has great sandwiches. Too bad they don't review their stores often enough, if at all. Last time I was in CA, I went to three Togos (Northridge, Westlake, and Reseda), and all were disgusting, had crappy service, and stale bread. What a great opportunity turned bad. :disgust:

I had first tried Togos about 5 years or so ago. They were MUCH better then, and I was so impressed, I had considered selling out and buying a few Togo's franchises. Not anymore.

A place named "Vito's Deli" in Hoboken, NJ has the best sandwiches EVER.
Order a Vito's Superhero ... you'll be in heaven.

Or if you live in NYC, Ottomanelli Brother's has good sandwiches on 81st and York.

They'll likely look at you like you have 2 heads if you ask for the RossMAN special.

It's a popular combo, I know myself, RossMAN and ShotgunSteve (I think) all get this wonderful combo whenever we are there.

Just tried the RossMAN at Quiznos. It was okay. Best sandwich I've had there so far which is saying something I guess.

I'll try the Subway pastrami tomorrow. I love pastrami, but I hate 'bway. I'm guessing they can really kill a pastrami sandwich. Oh jeez, I'm having a happy flashback to the Carnagie Deli. Excuse me folks while I wipe up the drool.

We've got a subway on campus in the student union, it's the best one around, strangly enough. I'll have to try this pastrami thing, it sounds pretty good.

EXACTLY!

I live in a city now that doesn't have a family owned deli and it drives my crazy!

Quiznos, Subway, Togo, Panera, whatever are just crap compared to a good deli.
