OMG...stop with the indian songs in hiphop...Just heard some Jayz song rite now (new i belive) and i hear an indian song in it...i know the name but i cant spell it..heh...but bah this is getting anoying...

Actually what I wanna know is do people know that they are Indian songs? Oh and they sample them so that they you can't even understand what they are saying.

lol, yeah i dont understand the significance of sampling them, specialy that one with eric serman and redman song (React), the indian girl is singing something about suicide....totaly not in the context of the rap song.

Yep, I recognized it as soon as I heard it (because I loved the original Hindi song). The title of the Jay-Z song is "The Bounce". Ethnic crossover? More power to them. If you don't like it, don't listen to it. Sounds like a little bit of ethnocentricism as far as I'm concerned, but hey, whatever floats your boat.

The best one is that song 'disco' by slum village...they actually sampled the indian song at a decent rate so it doesn't sound like its on a telephone!
