I do have confirmation that we can have you start as early as next week. In talking with our Chief Operations Officer, he has indicated that you can work a total of 30 hours/week. We are pretty flexible with hours so you can let us know what works best with your schedule. Production operates Monday ? Friday from 8 AM ? 4:30 PM.
Please contact me at your earliest convenience at 555-OMGWTFBBQ so we can discuss this opportunity in more detail.
(Names omitted to protect the innocent, guilty, and terrorists.)
ZOMG I'm totally hired for an internship position. :)

I'm told I will be working on some sort of robotic welding arm, most likely for purposes of world domination. I can only assume that these arms will be shark-mounted.

I'm covered in a nice warm comforter right now, so I'm going to just snorgle with it for awhile, but don't worry, I've got enough snorgles for everyone here. Except for Olds. Not after what happened in his basement........

You win best post of the day. I smiled twice; once at the title and once at your good news and excitement.

Cheers! :)

Congratulations! Hope you enjoy it, and don't get any ideas with that arm when you are alone with it.

if it's anything like the one they used at my previous job, there doesn't seem much to do except put the parts that need welded into the welding booth and maybe program it once in a while.

26 now. I'm finally about done with college.
2000 - graduate high school, no idea what to do.
2000 - 2002, going for an associate's degree in networking, mainly Cisco. NASDAQ craps its pants, I can't get an internship to finish the degree. Then I fail my CCNA by a less than a single question.
2002 - 2005, worked a temp job at a computer place, assembling and setting up computers for a school, and worked at Walmart.
2005 - present, at Penn State University for mechanical engineering.
