my name is Jane Adey,i work as an accountant in taccobell company in UK. am from UK in the city of London,I found your item in craigslist and am interested in buying your item,i want to buy it for a Brother in west africa in (Nigeria)for his Occasion gift,i will like to pay you an immediately payment through money order via Moneygram Payment and i want you to know that once they approved the money order sent to you.That shows that you will recieved the money in 3-5days but i want to send the item urgently to my Brother next week..And once they approves the money i will like to pick it up through my fedex account..If you accept my means of payment i want you to send me your home address??? for the payment and your name in full???

What's funny too is that the company is "taco bell" in Europe.. do they even have Taco Bell there? And this looks like a fill-in-the-blank spam-scam email.. for her brother for his Occasion gift? I think they were supposed to fill out an occasion for that lol
 
don't these guys realize that the nigeria trick is getting old? there are hundreds of countries in the world.
 
the funny thing is the nigerian scam has been going on for years, even before computers. they used to write the letters by hand..or at least adress them by hand and type it..
gotta love spam 1973 style.
 
i posted an ad for a roommate, I have already recieved 4 replys, all from South Africa. I am in Californina. This spam sucks.

Actually, it said "Taccobell", which is even worse than Taco Bell 🙂


I don't use Craiglist for that very reason. I stick to eBay or here on AT, and on eBay I put very specific requirements in my descriptions, if people ask to get around them or don't like them tough, don't bid. No problems yet.
