OMG Skype r0x0rz!!!

I just had a conference call between a Skype user in Canada, Skype user in Charlotte, and a cell phone user in Belgium (oh and by the way I hosted the conference call from a Starbucks in NYC!)

No static, no hissing, no popping, better quality than a landline (except for the cell user of course) and NO DISCONNECTS. It worked perfectly, as advertised, and it only cost me about 3 euros for a 15 minute call (would've been 10x cheaper had it been a landline instead of cell number!)

Skype is indeed teh r0xor! I use it when playing Rise of Nations. I'm in GA, buddy is in Boston. No problems at all.

yep, I've used it for about two months now, it's great. Cheap too.

Yeah, I have used the normal skype, because it was free. I really liked it.

Skype out sucks. Just get the other party to get skype.. then you get to talk for free!

Agreed...and when my friend has his apt set up in Belgium and his broadband then he'll switch over, but a lot of times peeps don't have cheap broadband access (like my friend in Japan and peeps in India.)
