I'm in the Cincy area and they've been talking the past few days about how St. Joes was going to be going down to Xavier because

(1) Xavier has been on their A-game the past couple games and

(2) St Joes doesnt want to enter the finals with a flawless record.

I phrased that horribly... some guys on the local sports station were saying that it would be in St. Joes best psychological interest to lose a game before entering the finals so they aren't cocky/lazy at the start.

a) St Joes is in the loser division of the A10 and have played cupcakes all year
b) Xavier needs a win over a highly overrated team to get in the Big Dance
c) St Joes got lucky to play Gonzaga first game, and caught Dayton on a bad night

I guess that could be the case, but how does that psychologically help them when they are getting beat by like 40 points? That's pretty embarrassing
