OMG PLEASE HELP

Jesus Christ. I downloaded 3DMARK05 and ran the free version and got a score of 3182 WTF how is this possible. I should be getting atleast a 5000!!!!!! Is it my vid card or is 3Dmark messed up? Any replies will be greatly apprciated.

If your games run like expected, I wouldn't worry. Is the normal score for a 6800 ultra a 5000? You may have AA/AF enabled in your control panel. Give everything a double check.

Not if you want to compare scores with the default benchmark.

I was going to install the the latest as well, currently i use 61.77 drivers and score 3877 in 3dmark05 at stock speed 370/1000
looks like by using these drivers 3dmark05 score should be around 5000ish,

I have had too many probs in the past by trying to run the latest greatest unofficial drivers
I don't do it anymore.

If you do let us know how tyour score improves

i ran it without aa and af enabled and got a 4352, but still 6800 gts are geetting higher scores then mine. i can get doom 3 and 1600x1200 with 4x aa and 8x af and never drops below 30 fps. is something wrong or is it 3dmark? Once again thaks so much for the replies.

Cheers for buying a 500 dollar card for 3D Mark. And also make sure Picture Quality is set to High Performance in the Nvidia Control Panel as well.

If all else fails I wouldn't worry about it. Who the hell plays D3 at 1024x768 low quality with a 6800 Ultra?

The owners of the GT's likely have their set ups tweaked out just for the soul purpose of getting a higher score in 3D mark. So tweaked, the only thing they see on their monitors are washed up colors.

My best guess would be that you don't have your motherboard drivers correctly installed.
