omg please help

i went outside and laid in the sun for about 10 minutes, then i came in to get some water and spotted a bottle of my mom's tan accelerator. so i put it all over my body and went outside again and after about 10 secs my whole body started burning and i looked in the mirror and i was breaking out in rashes everywhere and now my body feels like its in an oven and i look like i have laid out in the sun for 5 days straight and my skin is so sore or something that i can't bend my elbows without it hurting omg what to do??? i took a shower and washed all the mess off but nothing!

HAH lol. Ask your mom if thats ever happend to her? Call the company that makes the stuff, or call a dermitologist... Also i mabey fill the tub up with cold water and just chill in there

Did you even read the bottle? It probably has a statement in bold that says "do not use in direct sunlight" or "test on a small part of skin before using"

Could be the tan accelerator. Some of them are called "tingle" creams exactly for that reason - they tingle, burn, itch, and turn you bright red...like a severe sunburn. It'll go away in about half an hour.

Yeah, the front of the bottle says "Contains Hemp Seed -- TINGLE! -- contains CoQ10"...

Yep, it's a tingle cream. It burns like mofo, but it will go away shortly.

Read the bottle's instructions carefully and see what they tell you. If there's no specific instructions to let you know what happened or what to do, go get some aloe (lotion) and rub it on. Should help.

Some of the good tanning accelerators have a tingle factor like Vi said. I use one everytime I go to the tanning bed.

Yeh. Just be sure to wash your hands before touching your peppy if you've been using this stuff.

If you're getting a rash from it, take some Benadryl (provided you're not allergic to it).
