omg please help me

so i recently sent my motherboard back for a return and i accidently sent back the protective cover for my processor with it. right now its in a protective bag that came with it without the protective cover on the processor. should i just replace my processor now to or what should i do?

why would you replace your processor???

just because its in a bag doesn't mean it's been damaged or anything... your chip should be fine

when the comp booted up, after the tracking memory it sayd
Comp is in Safe mode
Please reset processor and memory frequency

i then went into bios and set to defualts and it went away, comp still wouldnt boot.
but do u think the processor was damaged?

can som1 please awnesr if i should return it or not because 2day is the last day i can request an rma for it.

I wouldn't think anything would be wrong with your processor if you just screwed up a BIOS flash.
