Anyways, I watched the video this afternoon and was disgusted as the rest of ATOT was. What I forgot was that I didn't view the video, I saved it to my default download directory which was my desktop. A few hours later, my mother hops on the computer and works on it for a while. After she was done, she started playing around and clicks on the wmv link! :Q
All this time i'm sitting close to the computer but can't actually see the screen. All of a sudden, I hear the slowly repeating *thud* *thud* *thud* sounds of the movie. I let out a loud shriek and run over to the computer to hit the reset button on the computer. I jam it forgetting that i didn't bother to connect the reset switch to the motherboard when i put the computer together because i never use the reset button. Luckily, my Media Player is set to autorepeat every movie it plays, so there was a constant barrage of *thud* *thud* *thud* coming out of the speakers as the movie played over and over again. My mother didn't say a word, didn't move, she was frozen in shock and just kept staring at the screen. Completely forgetting the existence of the the computer power button, i did a barrel roll to get over to the surge protector (smacking my head on the desk in process) and yanked the cord out of the wall. The monitor and the speaker went dead and finally there was nothing but the sweet, sweet release of absolute silence.
Finally, after what seems like an eternity, my mother slowly turns toward me and says:
"I just saved a ton of money on my car insurance by switching to Geico."
